Course
A 31-mile ultra with 3,500 feet of climb, 85% of it off road with a tarmac section through the middle. It opens with a loop of Loch Lyon taking in about six river crossings - wet feet are guaranteed - then passes back through the start/finish for drop bags before climbing into remote Glen Lochay for high and low-level sections and returning to finish in Glen Lyon. Water stations at roughly 8, 20 and 26 miles with drop bags at halfway. An alternative Route B is used if the crossings become impassable. A shorter trail race runs alongside.
