Course
Three looped courses starting and finishing at the Zillmer Trailhead in the Kettle Moraine State Forest; the Golden Gauntlet runs all three back to back. Trails are wide enough for about four runners abreast but carry rocks and roots. Aid at the trailhead on the long course only, and the race is cupless — runners carry their own bottles.
