About
La Diagonale des Fous crosses Réunion Island from coast to coast, climbing through the volcanic peaks and cirques around Piton des Neiges before finishing in Saint-Denis. At 180K with roughly 10,000 metres of climbing, it is one of the toughest ultras on the international calendar, alongside the shorter 106K Trail de Bourbon.
