Course

Run entirely within Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park, 30km north of Coober Pedy. The route winds through the coloured hills, along the dog fence and back to the lookouts, across moon-like country dotted with opal shafts and mullock heaps. Distances are 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km, 5km and a 2.5km kids fun run, with ride distances alongside.
