Course
A point-to-point road race on the Eastern Cape coast finishing at Kei Mouth Country Club. The 42.2 km starts at the R349 intersection of Makhazi and Ngxingxolo and the 21.1 km near Idle Wild Farm on the R349, both at 06:00; a 5 km fun run starts at the club at 07:00. Refreshment tables every 3 km.

The Great Kei Marathon takes place at Kei Mouth on the Eastern Cape's Wild Coast, where the Great Kei River meets the Indian Ocean. The route follows this scenic, undeveloped stretch of coastline through the village of Kei Mouth, one of South Africa's most remote and picturesque coastal areas.
