Course
The half marathon is a point-to-point along the edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, starting near Heritage High School and finishing at the Talley Ho Inn in Townsend, with 1,267 ft of climb and five aid stations on open roads shared with local traffic. The Friday evening 5K is flat and rolling, mostly on the tree-lined Townsend Historical Trail.
