Course
Eight-mile out-and-back trail run starting at the Quarry Lot north of Hahns Peak Village, climbing four miles to the summit fire lookout and returning the same way. 2,200 ft of gain over jeep road, singletrack and talus; the final pitch is loose rock on marked chutes.

This trail race began with a handful of hardcore North Routt locals meeting at the historic Cabins at Historic Columbine each Fourth of July to race to the summit and fire outlook of Hahns Peak, a former volcano with sweeping 360-degree panoramic views. What started as an informal local gathering is now open for anyone to join.
