The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon is one of Vietnam's largest and most professional international marathons, held annually in November at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The certified race course takes runners past thousand-year-old heritage sites and spectacular scenery along Ha Long Bay. The event features competition with elite national team athletes and is certified by international associations AIMS and VAF, while serving as a qualifier for Abbott World Marathon Majors events.
