Unmarked trail routes from Sutton Bank Visitor Centre near Thirsk on the North York Moors, navigated with the organiser's maps and route descriptions. The marathon runs about 29 miles with roughly 3,400 ft of ascent; the half is 16.5 miles and the 10K about 7. Checkpoints are cupless, so runners carry their own cup.
