Course
The marathon starts at the Connecticut State Capitol on Capitol Avenue and finishes just past the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch in Bushnell Park. Runners head through West Hartford and Elizabeth Park, cross Founders Bridge into East Hartford and the rural roads of South Windsor before returning to the city. Half marathoners split off around mile 8 for a riverside route.
