The Healthy Hearts 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk takes place on the Homestead Trail in Beatrice, Nebraska, now past its 16th running, with bib timing for accurate results. Entry includes a long-sleeve shirt, finisher medal, and pizza and treats afterward, with awards across youth, age-group, and couples divisions. Proceeds support Javelan, which provides service dogs for retired first responders and military veterans.
