Course
Trail course starting from a field beside the Chattahoochee River near downtown Helen and running through Unicoi State Park. It opens with a climb on a gravel service road before joining singletrack, passing Smith Creek Dam and Anna Ruby Falls with stream crossings. The marathon gains over 3,000 feet. Aid stations at Field, First Blood, Bear Trap and the visitor center.
