About
The Hirosaki Apple Marathon runs between Hirosaki and Nishi-Mekiya in Aomori Prefecture, passing apple orchards, the Iwaki River, and views of Mt. Iwaki near the Shirakami Mountains World Heritage site. Hirosaki is Japan's leading apple-producing city, and the autumn course showcases the region's orchards during harvest season.
