Hobbit Trail Runs

Course

A multi-distance trail weekend based at Hogsback in the Eastern Cape, run over three days from 5 km up to a 90 km nonstop and a two-day 90 km journey. Routes combine plantation jeep tracks with steep natural forest singletrack through the Amathole mountains, and include an 8 km night run.

Hobbit Trail Runs is a trail race series held in the Hogsback mountains of the Eastern Cape, with distances from a 5km fun run up to the 90km Hobbit Journey ultra. The route network includes night and forest legs across multiple race weekends each April.
