Course
The half marathon, 15K and 10K start and finish at Daimler Truck North America on Swan Island, with a hard climb inside the first mile and a downhill run home past downtown Portland, the University of Portland campus, the St Johns Bridge and Pier Park. The 5K is completely flat on asphalt along the Willamette waterfront. The half has at least six water stations plus a gingerbread cookie aid station.

The Holiday Half is a Portland winter tradition put on by Foot Traffic, offering half marathon, 15K, 10K, and 5K distances each December. Runners head out through the Portland area on a course organized by one of the Pacific Northwest's longest-running race series.
