Course
A 5K through downtown Holland run over the city's snowmelt system, which keeps the streets clear of snow and ice through the winter. A separate Kids' Mini Melt of 0.2 miles for ages 7 and under starts on the 8th Street Marketplace. Run as part of the Holland on Ice festival.

About
Join Downtown Holland and Holland Recreation for a 5K through beautiful Downtown Holland. The entire route will take advantage of Holland's unique snowmelt system, allowing runners & walkers to enjoy an obstacle and hazard free course, even in the midst of winter. Racers will receive a finisher medal and a winter hat. This 5K is part of Downtown Holland's annual Holland on Ice festival, so racers can stick around Downtown Holland all weekend to take in the live ice carving, great sales, and winter themed food & drink specials at local restaurants.
