Course

The only marathon run on two continents: starts on the Asian shore, crosses the 15 July Martyrs Bridge over the Bosphorus into Europe, then follows the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn waterfront into the old city to finish at Sultanahmet beside the Blue Mosque. Downhill off the bridge, flat along the water, with a few short rises near the end.
