Course
Point-to-point desert trail races starting about 20 miles outside Moab at the Hollywood Western Equestrian Trails in the Onion Creek area, on a mix of singletrack, horse trail and fire road beneath Castle Tower, the Priests and Nuns and Fisher Towers. The half has two full aid stations and a water drop, the 10K one aid station. The event is cupless.

About
The John Wayne Grit Series Moab event features a Half Marathon and 10K trail run/walk through red cliffs, mesas, grasslands, single track trails, horse trails, fire roads, and Hollywood Western Equestrian Trails where John Wayne films were shot. It benefits the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, with participants receiving a Grit Series shirt and finisher mug, and options for fundraising rewards.
