About
The Karuizawa Half Marathon runs through the resort town of Karuizawa, Nagano, looping through Kyu-Karuizawa, Minamioka, and Naka-Karuizawa. The course passes shaded forest paths, parks, and golf-course surroundings, crossing the Shinkansen line via underpasses and tunnels. The race draws around 6,000 runners each May.
