Katie's Run

Course

The 5K and the 2-mile walk both start near the New Hyde Park Funeral Home on Lakeville Road, just south of the Northern State Parkway, and finish in Memorial Park. Both routes run village streets through New Hyde Park on the Queens-Nassau border. A free children's fun run follows the main races.

About

Katie's Run, organized by the Katie McBride Foundation, is a tribute to Katie's memory in support of families affected by childhood leukemia and other life-threatening illnesses. The event honors Katie's legacy and raises funds and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House and the family support services it provides.
