Course
A 7.1 mile loop of Lake Mingo in Kennekuk Cove County Park, crossing an earth dam and nine bridges. Roughly 90% trail with short grassland, rock and asphalt sections, plenty of short hills and marshland, and creek crossings after heavy rain. One hydration station at halfway; the loop direction reverses each year.

The 28th Annual Lake Mingo Trail Run is a special event where the course direction changes each year, with odd years being clockwise and even years being counterclockwise. This 7.1 mile trail run takes runners through deep woods around Lake Mingo, with the possibility of encountering wildlife and natural elements like wet and muddy conditions.
