Runs from the NC State Memorial Belltower 2.5 miles through downtown Raleigh to the Krispy Kreme store at Peace and Person Streets, then back the same way. The doughnut stop comes at the halfway turnaround; the race starts at 8:00 AM with registration open until 7:30 AM race morning.

What started as a challenge among ten friends has transformed into a nationally publicized charity race, and the number one tradition to complete before graduating from North Carolina State University.
