La Rochelle's late-November marathon, run since 1991 and ranked the second-fastest marathon in France on the athletics federation's gold-standard table. One loop from the old port quays, out past the towers and along the Atlantic seafront and back to the harbour, with a 10 km, a two-person duo and a four-leg company relay sharing the morning and a free 4 km fun run on the Saturday.
