Course
Both races start and finish at Fonta Flora's Whippoorwill Farm in Nebo and run the trails of Lake James State Park. The 7-miler takes in Paddy's Creek, Mills Creek and the Overmountain Victory Trail with a beach crossing and about 425ft of climbing; the 5K loops the farm field then joins the Discovery Trail. Mostly singletrack, with open road crossings.
