Course
A 61-mile point-to-point road relay from Warren Wilson College in East Asheville to Fonta Flora Brewery at Whippoorwill Farm near Lake James. The route runs east through Swannanoa, Black Mountain and around Lake Tomahawk, follows much of the Geyser Growl Half Marathon course into Old Fort, then passes through downtown Marion. Twelve legs of 3.3 to 7.7 miles are shared by teams of four to six, on public roads open to traffic.
