Course
Loop courses on singletrack through the Whakarewarewa Forest, starting and finishing at the Waipa hub outside Rotorua. The 42 km marathon circumnavigates the forest over all four peaks — Kohaturoa, Titokorangi, Moerangi and Kakapiko — for 1,750 m of climb; the 50 km ultra extends it with extra technical climbing to 2,240 m. Shorter 21 km, 10 km and 5 km loops take in the nearer peaks.
