Flat, fully traffic-controlled and USATF certified road courses through Old Town Lenexa, starting and finishing near Santa Fe Trail Drive and Pflumm Road. The 5K and 10K share the route until the 10K splits away at mile 2.7 on Santa Fe Trail Drive at 95th Street. Walkers and buggies are 5K only.

An Independence Day 5K and 10K through Old Town Lenexa, Kansas, following the Santa Fe Trail Drive and Pflumm Road. The race is a long-running Fourth of July tradition for the Kansas City suburb.
