Out-and-back on Mackay city roads. Starts at the Whale Bones on Bluewater Quay, River Street, crosses north over the Forgan Bridge and runs along Harbour Road to a turnaround opposite BP Moss Marine, then returns the same way to finish at the Whale Bones. No aid stations are listed.
