Mankato Marathon

Course

A new-for-2026 course starting at 417 Poplar Street and finishing in the heart of City Center Mankato in the Minnesota River Valley. The marathon starts 7:20 am with aid stations along the route; half, relay, 10K and 5K also run on race weekend.

The Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, is a Boston Marathon qualifying race which showcases beautiful dynamic courses and determined runners. Our courses are the perfect blend of Mankato's scenic trails and urban landscape, highlighting the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. From Kids races to the Full Marathon and plenty of fun in between, we have a race for everyone!
