A point-to-point route from the Archaeological Zone at Palenque to La Chiapaneca restaurant, over gravel, asphalt and single-track jungle trail with about 1,160 m of climb. Water stations sit every 3.5 to 4.5 km and the route is marked with orange flags, kilometre signs and arrows at junctions.
