Course
Starts and finishes at Rodeo Beach, Sausalito, crossing the Marin Headlands, the Stinson-facing flank of Mt Tamalpais and Muir Woods. Terrain ranges from exposed fire roads with coastal and inland views to tight, technical single-track under redwood canopy. Multiple aid stations carry water, gels, snacks, salt and fresh fruit; the race is cupless, so runners carry their own bottle or cup.
