Point-to-point marathon starting in Ishpeming and following the Iron Ore Heritage Trail down into Marquette, finishing at the Superior Dome. The course is certified, with a net drop of 814 feet. On-course support includes Skratch Labs hydration and Honey Stinger gels.

The Marquette Marathon offers marathon, half marathon, 5K and relay distances through Marquette on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, along the shore of Lake Superior. Runners pass through the lakeside city's neighborhoods and waterfront parks before finishing near downtown.
