About
The Matraberc Trail is one of the defining spring trail running events in Hungarian trail running, challenging both domestic and international runners. The race route follows the main ridge of the Mátra mountains from east to west, crossing the entire mountain range. The course runs 99% on natural forest trails, with 4/5 being typical single-track ridge paths offering spectacular views, passing Hungary's two highest peaks - the 1014-meter Kékes and 965-meter Galyatető.
