Course
Two off-road courses start at Buckland Landing and finish opposite The Shire's Rest, looping through the Hobbiton Movie Set and surrounding farmland. Surfaces include grass, dirt farm track, compacted clay and some cobblestone on the movie set. Elevation gain is 603m for the 21.1km and 298m for the 11.1km. The 21.1km has aid stations at 5.6, 7.6, 10.8, 15.6 and 19.3km.
