Point-to-point. The 10 mile starts on Mississippi River Boulevard at Summit Avenue, follows the river bank, enters the Hidden Falls Park trails around mile 3 and finishes at Upper Landing Park, with a shuttle back to the start. The 5K starts on Shepard Road near Upper Landing Park. Mixed road and park trail. Aid stations are not detailed.

The Mightyssippi run follows the Mississippi River through Saint Paul, tracing the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood past Minnehaha Falls. Runners choose between a 10-mile and a 5K distance along the riverside route, part of the Minnesota Running Series.
