Course
The half marathon starts at 4th Avenue and Riders Club Road in Onalaska and runs out along the Great River State Trail for about 8 miles past Lytle's Landing before turning back to finish at Swarthout Park on Brice's Prairie. Five aid stations at miles 2.2, 4.5, 6.6, 9.5 and 11.6 carry water, sports drink and gels. The 5K heads toward the Upper Mississippi River refuge visitor centre and loops back on the South Loop Trail.
