Moab Trail Marathon

Course

A loop through the canyon country south of Moab, starting at the Pritchett Canyon entrance, climbing Hunter Canyon Rim, dropping to Kane Creek Road and up the Scorched Earth Wall before Amasa Back and Jackson Trail. Roughly 3,500 ft of gain over singletrack, jeep road, sandy wash, slickrock and a short slot canyon, with a scramble at mile 17.5 that most runners walk. Seven aid stations.

The Moab Trail Marathon runs on technical slickrock singletrack in the canyon country around Moab, Utah, with sections along the Colorado River. Marathon, half marathon and 10K distances are offered on trails known for rock scrambles and exposed terrain.
