Course

Run in the 5,000-acre Mohican Memorial State Forest over one to four loops depending on the distance entered, starting and finishing at the Mohican Adventures pavilion opposite the campground. The surface mixes pavement, dirt road and singletrack, ranging from muddy to dusty to rocky and rooted. Aid stations sit roughly five miles apart.

For 35 years, The Mohican Trail 100 Mile Run has been one of the nation's premier ultra-marathons, hosting the first ever USATF Ultra Running Championship in 2005. The event offers 100 mile, 50 mile, and marathon distance options with a 32-hour cutoff for the 100 mile race.
