Course
Starts and finishes at Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre near Hawkshead in the Lake District. The undulating route runs mainly on good forest tracks with some road sections and views over Coniston. The half finishes back at the visitor centre; the marathon adds an eastern loop towards Windermere. Feed stations on the marathon route, water at the finish.
