A flat, fast USATF-certified road course starting and finishing in historic downtown Monterey, running out along Cannery Row and the Pacific Grove waterfront beside the bay. Only about 106 ft of total elevation change, from 7 ft at the start to 19 ft at the finish. A 3.5 hour time limit applies.

The Monterey Bay Half Marathon runs along the scenic coastal recreation trail between Monterey and Pacific Grove on California's Central Coast. The route follows the shoreline past Cannery Row and Lovers Point, with bay views for most of the course. A 5K and 3K also run on race weekend.
