Course
Both races start and finish at John F. Kennedy High School in Mount Angel and set off at 9:00 am on the Sunday of Oktoberfest. The 10K climbs Mount Angel Abbey Hill and returns the same way, with views from the top; the 5K is a shorter loop. The course is mostly paved with some gravel and dirt sections. Bulk water is provided and runners are asked to bring their own bottle.
