Course
Three mapped courses on Ocracoke Island. The 5K and 10K start at 8:00 on Saturday; the half marathon starts at 7:00 on Sunday with an 11:00 cutoff. Water stations and portable toilets are placed along the half marathon course, and water and fruit are provided at the finish. Walkers and running strollers are permitted.

The Ocracoke Island Weekend Runfest features the Scallywag 5K and 10K on Saturday and Blackbeard's Half Marathon on Sunday. It is a scenic, flat-course running event benefiting Ocracoke Community Radio WOVV, Ocracoke School Athletic Boosters Club, and Ocracoke Community Park.
