The Okinoshima Ultramarathon is held on Okinoshima, one of Japan's remote Oki Islands in the Sea of Japan, with 100K and 50K routes. The 50K race, traditionally run around Father's Day, has long been a stage for national-record performances by elite Japanese ultrarunners.
