A night race on tarred roads starting and finishing at the Ottosdal Showgrounds in North West. The route is lit by around 2,000 paraffin lamps, with 12 water stations spaced every 2 to 2.5 km. Run and cycle categories start together over 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km.
