Course
Narrow winding trail around Lake Padden with steep ups and downs, rocks, roots and mud. Both races start by the picnic shelter at the golf-course end of the lake; the 5K climbs hard to a ridge before dropping to the lakeshore, and the 10K adds a first loop over the hills behind the golf course before joining it. Both finish along the open lakefront.

The Padden Mudfest is a trail run on the trails of Lake Padden Park in Bellingham, WA. Launched in 2003 as a 12k event, it offers muddy trail running with packet pickup and refreshments at the Lake Padden Picnic Shelter.
