Course
A trail half marathon and 10K around Penshaw Hill, starting from Herrington Country Park and running the beautiful trails along both the north and south banks of the River Wear. The half covers 13.2 miles with roughly 1,590ft of ascent and finishes with a climb to the top of Penshaw Monument. Checkpoints with sweets and water at miles 5.5, 8 and 9.
