A single-distance 21km road race based at Pirates Club on Braeside Road in Greenside, Johannesburg, with the start on Cruden Bay Road above Sir Lionel Phillips Park. The course climbs and drops through the northern suburbs and is billed as Joburg's toughest half. The field is capped at 5,000 runners.
