Course
The spring half marathon starts and finishes at Century II in Wichita, weaving through the downtown streets, along the Arkansas River and its parks, and out through the older parts of the city. A 5K and an untimed Mayor's Friendly 5K are held alongside it, with a back-to-back option for those doing both.

Formerly known as the Wichita Marathon, the Prairie Fire Marathon has grown into a premier urban marathon drawing runners from across the country and abroad. The fall marathon offers a flat, fast, Boston-qualifying course, with proceeds supporting the Wichita Sports Commission's local charity partners.
