Starts and finishes at the Parkview YMCA on Dawsons Creek Boulevard in Fort Wayne, running out along the Pufferbelly Trail, part of the planned 82-mile Poka-Bache Connector. A 10K, a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile kids fun run; the trail stays open to the public during the event.

The Pufferbelly Run follows Fort Wayne's Pufferbelly Trail, a paved rail-trail built on a former railroad corridor and named for the old steam locomotives that once ran the line. Organized by Fort Wayne Trails, with 10K, 5K and kids' fun run options.
