Course

A marked, traffic-free route inside Ballypatrick Forest near Ballycastle, 98% off road on forest track with some tarmac forest road. The half marathon is one circular lap, the marathon two, and the 10km an out-and-back within the forest. There is one water refill point at about 6 miles for the longer races, while the 10km has water only at start and finish.

The Rabbit Run is a winter trail event in Ballypatrick Forest near Ballycastle, County Antrim, organised by We Run Wild NI. Runners choose a 10km, half marathon or marathon on forest tracks, with the marathon covering two laps of the half-marathon loop. The route is fully marked and closed to traffic.
